We are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator for a client of ours, an Italian company based in  in East Sussex (UK).

 

About the Job

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • fabricate high-quality stone for kitchen and bathroom countertops and other bespoke stone products;
  • responsible for quality and output and delivering on time;
  • establish effective communication in the workshop;
  • other duties as assigned;
  • accountable to Company Director.
  • participate in in-house training;
  • develop and maintain product knowledge.

 

The ideal candidate

Key skills required

  • experience in the stone industry essential;
  • CNC Operator & Programmer experience desirable;
  • CAD knowledge and experience desirable;
  • highly motivated to produce quality products and service;
  • compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.
  • full driving license essential;
  • fork truck training desirable;
  • ability to lift heavy weights;
  • must be willing to work a flexible schedule.

 

 

Salary package: £32,000 – £40,000 per year

Usual working hours will be between 8am – 5:30pm from Monday to Friday.

Occasional weekday overtime and weekend work may be required in exceptional circumstances.
